"Alexander the Great" Airport - Skopje
The airport in the vicinity of Skopje is the main airport in Macedonia and handles approximately a million passengers yearly with a quick growth rate from previous years by quickly increasing the number of destinations as well as the number of airlines, including budget. The main airlines that operate at the Skopje airport are: WizzAir, Croatia Airlines, Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Turkish Airlines and FlyDubai (check out the full list below). Although it is a small airport it has received the Best Airport in Europe Award in 2012 in the category up to 2 million passengers. The airport has all the services one may require including banks, ATM machines, postal services, duty free shops, restaurants and coffee shops and wi-fi internet (free for 15 mins then charged)

There is a shuttle service opperating on a route to and from the airport, with the following
route:
- Stop 1: Alexander the Great Airport
- Stop 2: Hotel Alexander Palace
- Stop 3: Hotel Holiday Inn
- Stop 4: International Bus Station
- Stop 5: Hotel Continental
- Stop 6: Alexander the Great Airport

"St. Paul the Apostle" Airport - Ohrid
The Ohrid airport is the second and only other commercial airport in Macedonia and is located 10km west from Ohrid city. It is a relatively small airport handling up to 100.000 passangers during one year although its terminal is built to handle around 400.000 passanger per year. The list of airlines that operate at the Ohrid airport is the following: Croatia Airlines, Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, JAT Airways, Turkish Airlines, Edelweiss Air, Hello Air and Corendon Airlines. Taking in consideration its size it still has all the conveniences and services a traveler might require.

There is no shuttle service from Ohrid Airport to Ohrid City and a taxi fare would cost approximately 8 EUR
depending on the desired destination in the city.
