1) Start from Skopje: Your journey begins with a comfortable pick-up from your location in Skopje (city center area). If you are not located in the center area, please inform us so we can find a close location. Sit back and relax as your private driver takes you on a scenic drive through Macedonia’s beautiful landscapes. 2) Private transfer to Stobi (up to 3 or 4 people depending on luggage): - Traveling time: 1 hour / 82 km distance - Free time at Stobi: 45 to 60 minutes First stop is Stobi Archaeological Park, one of the most significant Roman sites in the region. Explore the remains of this ancient city, including well-preserved mosaics, a Roman theater, public baths, and impressive early Christian churches. Immerse yourself in the history of this once-thriving metropolis. 3) Transfer to Heraclea Lyncestis: - Traveling time: 80 minutes / 100 km distance - Free time at Heraclea: 45 to 60 minutes After Stobi, enjoy a scenic drive to Heraclea Lyncestis, an ancient city founded by Philip II of Macedon. Here, you can marvel at the ruins of grand Roman buildings, including an impressive theater, stunning mosaics, and remnants of Byzantine churches. The site offers a glimpse into the life and culture of the ancient Macedonian and Roman civilizations. 4) Back to Skopje: After exploring these remarkable historical sites, your private driver will take you back to Skopje, where you can reflect on the incredible ancient heritage you’ve just experienced.
