Start your day with a visit to Dion's archaeological park. Explore the ancient city with your guide, learning about Greek mythology, the 12 gods, and the centuries of civilization that have come and gone. See the ancient statues and the theatre with its impressive acoustics. After visiting Dion's archaeological site, hike in the dense forest of Olympus to the Agia Kori little church and then to the nearby waterfall and the natural pools. The path is very well-preserved and the scenery there is truly breathtaking, especially during spring and autumn. During the summertime, the natural pools are the perfect spot to take a refreshing dip and enjoy the beauty of the area. Alternatively, hike on a longer trail at Agios Dionysios's old cave located close to Prionia in another area of the mountain. End your day in the picturesque village of Litohoro where you will have free time to spend or have lunch in a beautiful setting by the river.
